FAUL! - TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the legal relationship between natural persons using the services offered through the Faul! platform (the "Platform") (the "User") and the operator of the Platform. Every User accessing the Platform declares that they have read and accepted these Terms without reservation.

1. NATURE OF THE SERVICE
1.1. The Platform is a free entertainment service enabling Users to play an online word-guessing game.
1.2. The service involves no membership fee, subscription or in-application purchase.
1.3. The service is provided "as is" and no undertaking is given that any particular result will be achieved.

2. AGE LIMIT
2.1. The Platform is not suitable for persons under the age of 13.
2.2. As Users may communicate by text and by voice, it is not technically possible to review the content of such communication in advance.
2.3. Where use by a person under the age of 13 is identified, the relevant access and records are deleted.

3. NICKNAME AND VISIBILITY
3.1. The nickname and avatar chosen by the User are visible to all Users in the same lobby.
3.2. The User undertakes not to share on the Platform personal data such as their real name, contact details, address or educational institution, nor information belonging to third parties.
3.3. No expectation is created that content shared on the Platform will remain confidential.

4. USER CONTENT AND LIABILITY
4.1. Sole legal and criminal liability for all content generated by the User, including chat messages, statements made during voice communication, the chosen nickname and any uploaded images, rests with the User concerned.
4.2. An automatic content filter operates on the Platform. That filter does not amount to full moderation of content and does not remove the User's liability.

5. PROHIBITED USES
The User undertakes to refrain from:
a) conduct involving insult, threat, harassment, discrimination or hate speech;
b) sharing obscene or adult content;
c) advertising, posting links and sending any form of unsolicited message;
d) creating the impression of acting on behalf of another person or organisation;
e) any attempt to disrupt the operation of the game, exploit system vulnerabilities or damage the infrastructure;
f) using the service by means of automated programs (bots).

6. REPORTING, BLOCKING AND MEASURES IN THE EVENT OF BREACH
6.1. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users on the Platform. Users can report or block other players from the player menu in the mobile application, or report by e-mail to hello@faul.app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; objectionable content is removed and the users responsible are removed from the service.
6.2. In the event of a breach of these Terms, the User may be removed from a lobby without prior notice and access to the Platform may be blocked indefinitely.
6.3. Objections to a measure applied may be submitted via the e-mail address stated below and will be assessed within a reasonable period.

7. CONTINUITY OF THE SERVICE
7.1. The service may be interrupted temporarily or permanently in cases of maintenance, updates, infrastructure failure or force majeure.
7.2. Data relating to ongoing games is not stored permanently; when a lobby closes, the relevant score, chat and card information is deleted.
7.3. No undertaking is given that games, scores or chat records terminated by an interruption will be restored.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
8.1. All rights in the Faul! name, logo, interface design, card decks and their content belong to the operator of the Platform.
8.2. The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use limited to personal and non-commercial enjoyment of the service.
8.3. Sharing screenshots and streaming are permitted; reproducing or adapting the content, or using it to create a comparable service, is prohibited.

9. USER SUGGESTIONS
9.1. Where a User submits a word suggestion to the Platform, the User is deemed to have transferred to the Platform the right to use that suggestion free of charge, without limitation in time, territory or number of uses.
9.2. The User may not claim any fee, royalty or attribution in this respect.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1. The Platform cannot be held liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the service, nor for damage arising from communication between Users.
10.2. Mandatory provisions of applicable law and cases of intent or gross negligence are reserved.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Platform may make use of infrastructure and content services belonging to third parties in order to operate. Information on such services is set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS
The Platform reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Platform; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Turkey have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
